    Services

    01.

    Sand blast

Sandblasting before powder coating is a necessary step to take. If you’re wondering if the metal has to be bare to powder coat it, the answer is yes! Sandblasting is the best method to clear it.

    02.

    iron phosphate

Phosphating is a pre-treatment step that results in a conversion coating. Parts to be powder coated are immersed in an acidic bath. The solution reacts with the metal part, converting the surface of the part into a protective layer.
    03.

    Powder Coating

Powder coating has a lot in common with liquid paint. Both are pigment-based, change the color of an item’s surface, and can be used as a sealant to protect something from the elements. However, there are also some very significant differences, most of which point toward favoring powder coating.

    Trusted by our community

I am so happy to have Austin and Brady carry on the legacy that was Kitsap Powder Coating. I am confident that their integrity and commitment will shine through and take Olympic Powder Coating to the next level.
